Black Friday and Cyber Monday

Black Friday is a day after Thanksgiving where people are drawn to great deals offered by retailers. Cyber Monday is the Monday following Thanksgiving, promoted online by retailers as a day for exceptional bargains. I feel as though Black Friday is a good and bad way to get items for yourself and others. People should enjoy their Thanksgivings with their families and be happy for what they have. Black Friday in a way contradicts the meaning of Thanksgiving because after giving your thanks for the things you already have, you go out and get things that you don't have. Thanksgiving is also a day for family, so the shopping should come second and be done after spending time with family. Cyber Monday is a good way to promote offers and to get customers into a store. Everyone is on social media and they will see these offers and be attracted towards them.
